What I would like to see is some Queen gameplay, Predalien gameplay and the inclusion of the Razor Whip and the Predator Hound to the Predator's arsenal.

This would be AMAZING!

It will probably be a sequel which goes its own path, much like Predator 2 and Predators. Both movies only gave a small nod to the original, but I don't think this one has to in order to be effective. Everyone knows who the Predator is. I am really glad for this, having a new Predator movie may be even more exciting for me than the new JP!

I am really excited about this game, and now I can't even explain how thrilled I am that you can relive the horrifying events that took place. Definitely preordering for sure. Damn, this is amazing. :D

I agree that it is a good news! Any new sequel or anything that adds to the franchise is most welcome.

Although, a few years ago it went through my mind a remake of the AvP 2 would be ideal as that 2007 movie had many flaws. The idea was brilliant (crashing spacecraft, aliens in a town, etc) but was very poorly made. Is there any way to put the seed in 20C Fox's head to remake that one as well?

PS: Looking forward to further development of this topic, and of course Prometheus 2 (as for the Alien series). :)

This is exceptionally interesting news! I certainly hope they maintain the original film's frightening atmosphere instead of retelling it as a run-of-the-mill action romp. Regardless, I'm looking forward to seeing more on this! :)

wHOA! This is kind of exciting, but...are they going to acknwledge the previous movies at all? Or is it an all out reboot? I know we don't know yet, but that's rather nerve racking because i turly loved the first two movies and was rather fond of The 2010 Predators, so I hope they can stick with just adding to it. Even starting a whole new trilogy or whatever they would ike to do is okay, I just don't want this new movie((s)Hopefully) to be made to kill all of the others

I believe if Sigourney Weaver is serious about making a return; she should contact Luke Scott (LOOM). And see if FOX would get behind her on at least doing a short-film; of which, she could easily not take a salary for. Possibly even fund it herself (or partly raise them), and give Ripley the ending she feels is right. FOX could tack it on to IMAX showings of "Prometheus 2" for the first week (if it turns out well enough).

I enjoyed this fan-short, certainly makes one wish for more.

Ah yes. Chet, the Predalien. One of my favorite varients of the species. Despite what others say, I love the Predalien. I tend to nick name the Predalien...Mr.Grinch. Why? Because he looks like a Grinch.

A AVP game called AVP:Evolution is adding new features like the Predalien! For those who don't know, it is a mobile game developed by the studio Angry Mob Games that was released last year for the ios and android devices. It is a third person action game in the same vein as the Batman Arkham series. Check out the trailer below.

Okay, so update on the interview situation. The writers of the new series asked that I hold off on posting the interview until June. Only because that's when they'll be promoting the new series, pre-order links and showcasing new content. Since the answers to the interview reveal some pretty BIG details about all of the new comics, they and I agree that posting the interview then would be more of a draw for fans and would get quite a bit more attention.

I do apologize however, I wasn't trying to "tease" it at all, it was only recently that DH and I agreed to wait on publishing the interview. I can assure you though, it will be well worth the wait! Pretty much every question was answered that fans submitted. I think everyone will be pleased with the responses.

Again, I am sorry for not posting it earlier, but it will be up on June 18th, I promise! :)

Will this Prometheus series follow up to the last scene where the Deacon birst out in Prometheus? Also will we see brand new aliens ?

Oh hell no. This is a terrible design. There's nothing iconic about it. It also resembles The Fly. It looks like a bad b movie nightmare. 

This thing needs its own movie.

I love this design so much more than the Predator we have today, and X_Paden_X nailed the exact reasons why I love it.

The Bio-Imperative is a powerful ability that alows all the aliens to adapt real fast to a current threat.  It was introduced in Aliens: Once in a life time and expanded upon in AvP:Extinction, AvP:Capcom arcade, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.  Can we please see alot more of this ability in your comics? 

It makes them a more legit threat an opens up alot of creative flexability with the story and art work for the aliens.  Besides heavy combat Aliens like the diffrent Ravagers, Crushers, Onslaugth genoms, Rangers, Razor Claws and alot of the evolved aliens in ACM are wicked cool you can't deny it =]

Can we also see alot more diffrent aliens that have features dictated by the host they come from?  We have seen some real huge monset sized ones come from small Whales and Alligators and I want to see some more diversity than what we have got in the past.

This is more of point than a question, but did you guys notice that Charles Weyland and his Weyland Industries doesn't conflict at all with Sir. Peter and the origin of Weyland Corp?  Since you work for Dark horse you probably know the major diffrences between a Industry and a Corperation.  I should also point out that on the time line it only shows Peter being the founder of Weyland Corp america and one of two Weyland Corp UK.  It in now way conflicts with the creation of Weyland Industries which is still on the Prometheus time line =]

Lastly if someone wanted to have a job like Chee does for SW for keeping track of canon for the Alien, Predator, AvP, Prometheus universe how would they go about doing that?  I would love to make a big book with the combined lore.

This doesn't seem like it's going to a profoundly bloody or gruesome game.

Xeno has a point...The movie AVP is a FARCE! A kinda joke to us fans from the studios. Yautja are blooded by their hunt leader, not by themselves. Time wise, every 100 years? How long do yautja live?! 

They should have just baught the rights for the book and did that one...atleast the sequal woulda made sense!
