The Predalien looks so much better on paper than in "reality" imo (suit or cgi)

They have done two AVP's and never gotten it right, I doubt that they'll do it right this time. Do something else, what ever that would be.

Well in one of the Dark Horse Comics there were a group of Badblood Predators that somewhat/crudely "tamed" tusked xenomorphs

Well in the Dark Horse Comics, the Yautja (Predators) have formed a culture around hunting the xenomorphs as a rite of passage.
As for the xenomorphs tend to attack pretty much anything that isn't a xenomorph on sight and infect them with their young.
But it'll be a little interesting if Alien and Predator...worked together.
No, we need more Alien movies. Alien movies that have heart-pumping, action, and are full of suffering, pain, and fear in the human characters. And for Predator, it's better if Predator wasn't fighting Alien again and returned to causing terror in human characters.
I don't know much about ALIEN but Probably.
A good Xenomorph has to be mechanic (the role model should be the one of 1979), stealth, deadly, sadistic in a good way (likes to cause fear on its preys, feeds on despair and likes to see them giving up and begging for their pathetic greedy little lives) and appearing in the worse times, or in the best times, it depends how you see the movie. I want to go to bed, after watching in cinema an Alien movie, having nightmares, paranoia, claustrophobia and night terrors, all at once in each heart beat.
If the director of the last movie of the Alien prequel trilogy was Shane Black, i bet that the Derelict Pilot would be a Predator.
Evolve the franchise yes but to completely ejectison the xenomorphs out of ALIEN is like removing the dinosaurs out of Jurassic Park or removing Godzilla out of a Godzilla movie
It's not that I dislike the Xeno but it can get repetitive if they don't evolve the franchise and make new things. The way the introduced the Engineers in Prometheus was interesting, for example.
Fallout has a great human story and the best part is you don't have to like synthetics, you can kill off the synthetics
If you don't like the xenomorphs then I suggest a new Sci-Fi series for you to get into, perhaps Fallout?
The Engineer mask reminds me of that Alien vs Predator mod for Skyrim, Predator: The Lost Tribes
An example of that even thought the prequels are flawed you can take things from there and use them. They can be used like this or in comics, or maybe in future movies, but they shouldn't be over-used like the Xeno, and try to make it scary.

I want that Predalien figure, I really loved the Predator's storyline in AVPR, the humans were forgettable but I didn't watch that movie for the humans. Wolf could have carried that whole movie on his back alone. Surely a unique movie that we will never see the likes of again because certain fans and the general audience are too damn human-centric.
It looks strange, but since it's from AVPR I'm not surprised. It looks like an AVPR-monster and yeah I've watched that crap of a movie twice, as far as I know.
Yeah, that's my only concern so far after reading that plot synopsis as well, but I'm remaining optimistic. I thoroughly enjoyed 10 Cloverfield Lane, which Dan Trachtenberg also directed so I'm excited to see what he brings to Predator. Given the time period we won't see any modern Human weapons, no guns, which will be a unique new take on how Humans combat the Yautja. This also begs the question will the Predator tech be dated as well? We can and should assume it will be.
Sounds like a woke Pocahontas to me and less like a Predator movie
well I am not completely against the idea of another AVP game, I just don't want rebellion to be at the helm because both AVP 1999 and AVP 2010 by Rebellion! in my opinion weren't as good as Aliens versus Predator 2 and Primal Hunt by Monolith. I even made a comparison of AVP 2 and AVP 2010 on google docs

I would really like to see still a avp game and i hope they are still thinking about making 1 avp 2010 is now a decade old and still being played so you can see people are not giving up about this idea.

AvP wasn't that bad. AvPR was so poorly lighted you couldn't tell what the hell was happening. Director and editor should be punished. I think Predator should rest for awhile. I think Alien franchise should hibernate too. At least until someone comes up with a good script. Disney spent money on these universes so I would expect they want a return, just not now. Or until some level of interest builds again. And please no more robot gone bad movies. Either give us something new and bigger or just go home.
