Fan Film Friday is Scified's new editorial which will on a Friday, unsurprisingly, feature one (or more) of the ever-increasingly impressive fan films being produced by a new generation of fans with both the dedication and the talent to produce something truly amazing on a practically non-existent budget. To launch Fan Film Friday we have already featured the return of Boba Fett, but here at Scified we like to spoil our members and fans when we can so here is another amazing video, this time set within the Alien universe, called Aliens: LV-426...
Directed, produced and written by Brazilian fan Marcio Napoli, Aliens: LV-426 sees Newt return to LV-426, where the remains of the former colony still burn. Synthetic Bishop helps the lost girl reconnect with her past, and memories buried in the ruins of LV-426.
Tune in next Friday for more Fan Films!
Alien vs. Predator 3 – What We Know So Far
Officially, Alien vs. Predator 3 remains in concept phase for the time being. A reboot of the iconic crossover has been discussed on numerous occasions, with chatter picking up heavily from 20th Century Studios back in the Fall of 2024 after the successful release of Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus. The blending of Alien and Predator cinematic universes was further solidified in 2025 with Dan Trachtenberg's Predator: Badlands. The two movie monsters continue to coexist in the same timeline, but their conflict has not yet been realized since 2007. A reboot of Alien vs. Predator would likely ret-con the existing 2 entries and establish a completely new AvP timeline.
