I would love to see them have another bash at it but not for a few years. let ridley got his movies done along with alien5 and if there will be a sequel to the predator then let them get those out the way first. the 2 franchises need to recover from avp/ avpr. a good script and director who can bring something from the comics alive would be just the thing the crossover needs. but I hated the idea the predator already knew of the xeno. take the predator out of its comfort zone. maybe they r hunting colonial marines on a distant world. the marines r there regarding a xeno presence on a world marked for terraforming. the predators land on the planet oblivious to the xeno presence and bam, u have an all out battle where the predators, under equipt and unprepared for the ferocity of the xeno, r fighting for survival yet have discovered a more hostile prey to hunt in the future. perhaps the predators change tact and decide to capture a queen and the marines have to stop them? the xeno is doing its thing and killing everything and the marines r being hunted on both fronts and battle for survival

The conclusion to how this would all end rests purely on the fact of how acidic Xenomorph blood is. I mean even if the Tyrannosaurus manages to kill them all, it's whole jaw would be dissolved in the end.

Maybe it could be a so bad it's good film.

In theory it is a neat scenario to consider. Realistically though, it would make for one horrible film haha

Indeed, Veronica Cartwright was perfect in the role! 

Lambert [the audience] reacted as most of us would in the presence of the MORB...she freaked out, but she was paralysed with fear!

The impression I have is that whatever fate did befall her she actually died from a heart attack.

Just to go off topic a little, sorry Facehuggers!...like the rest of the cast, Veronica was fantastic, you could see and feel the fear and dread throughout her performance. She knew they were doomed from the get go!

It would just be an interesting concept if the Engineers created humanity, the Xeno, and the Predator. All 3 serve a purpose to one another so it would make sense if it were all connected.

This is cool to think about considering any Alien fan would probably desire a deeper explanation for the AVP movies. The narrative those movies pedaled felt rushed to say the least. That being said I highly doubt Ridley would even consider perpetuating the AVP lore. In a somewhat recent interview he basically indicated he thought those films should never have been made.

If this was a reality then the Engineers would have created two ways to ensure their destruction. The Predators would make quick work of the Engineers.

Highly 99% doubt it.

For me the predators are more advanced then egineers or at least same technology standards just different applications and agendas.

Personally i think its a must they explain more about the predator world..ranks..we only got wolf as the true biggest ranked badass..we need to see more and better..they are far more mysterious then any other creature at this point as mystirious as the engineers.

They input more respect then aliens..they didnt loss their sense of badass fearless warriors as alien lost. Even in avp they didnt fuck the predator image as they fucked aliens.

Predators are what they are..hunting all the creatures around the universe and collecting their trophys thats what they live for

Very cool! Thanks for the info Gaven Sigleton! Did not know that this information that the Pre-Alien was a princess, had come from internal sources of the film. For me it was just fan speculation. Compared to the end result, they did not really show much knowledge in the Alien and Predator culture, it's a pity, AvPR had great potential. Makes me wonder if we'll still see an AvP reboot?

According to the directors commentary of AVP:R the Pred-Alien, nicknamed Chet, is claimed to be a "Juvenille Queen". A better description would be to call the creature a Princess. It is inferred in the movie that Chet uses female human hosts to produce Bellybursters, essentially a group of 3-4 Chestbusrters born from one host, thus allowing a hive to grow quickly before the Princess would evolve into its final stage - an egg laying Queen The use of female hosts.

As for the hanging Predators, as shown in your pic, this was supposed to be a trait the Predalien "inherited" from the Predators, an instinct. Unfortunately that makes less sense than the "Princess Alien" idea, as Predators likely skin and hang such kill's as a warning to anyone nearby that it is on the hunt. and additionally a skinned Predator looks pretty stupid.

Remember the directors/writers of AVP:R the Strause Brothers may have been fan boys of the Alien and Predator films, but their creative ability and their research into the movies warrings sides leaves a lot to be desired - there have been a lot of bad films in recent years and most here will agree that AVP:R is one of 'em.

In fact it is interesting to assume that his reproductive system is predominant because of his "Yajuta" side. But so far, in none of the films that have existed to date do they show that Predators are made up only of "male hunters." Even taking into account only the films of 'AvP'. I've seen people say that he was becoming a queen. But I also did not see anything very clear about that. But quite interesting your theory! Liked it! For he acts in a more "masculine" way. It is clear when he cooks the trophy diner. They cut a lot of the film, I remember that when Wolf arrived in the ship, there would be several bodies of other predators impaled by the Predalien, it would be nice to see that!

I believe its because the Predalien's reproductive organs are predominantly Predator (a male species), so only women hosts are viable.

Indeed. The price is steep but the figure is extremely well made. I like the fact that Sideshow have a flexible payment plan, makes it a little bit easier for us to add pieces like this to our collections. Personally, I'm saving up for Alien: Covenant collectibles.

I hated all the AVP espeically Grid (with the exception of the Predalien) and Alien Ressurection aliens.

ALIEN, ALIENS, and ALIEN 3 had far superior alien designs by far.
