Sideshow Collectibles have just revealed their latest Alien maquette and this time, its of H.R. Giger's infamous "Space Jockey" - the one seen in the Derelict on LV-426 in Ridley Scott's 1979 Alien. The maquette includes the Space Jockey or "Engineer in Pressure Suit" if we're going by Prometheus terms, as well as the Jockey's chair which he used to pilot the Derelict before it crash landed. Below are some photos taken from Sideshow's product page for the maquette. Check them out below and read on for more details!

"Long before Prometheus uncovered the origins of the Engineer and his species, the mysterious ‘Space Jockey’ captured the imaginations of movie-goers around the globe. First encountered by the doomed crew of the ship Nostromo, the haunting discovery of the enormous lonely star gazer remains one of the most memorable moments in the Alien franchise."

"Based on the iconic bio-organic industrial designs of Swiss artist H.R. Giger, Sideshow’s artists have faithfully captured every detail of the fossilized sentinel, a tragic traveler who fell victim to his own lethal cargo and was forever frozen, trapped in time and space. The Space Jockey Maquette will be an outstanding addition to any H.R Giger or Alien sci-fi collection."
The Space Jockey maquette will go on sale starting at $599.99 and will become available for pre-order starting February 5th! For more information and photos, be sure to visit the official product page on Sideshow's website, here!
Alien vs. Predator 3 – What We Know So Far
Officially, Alien vs. Predator 3 remains in concept phase for the time being. A reboot of the iconic crossover has been discussed on numerous occasions, with chatter picking up heavily from 20th Century Studios back in the Fall of 2024 after the successful release of Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus. The blending of Alien and Predator cinematic universes was further solidified in 2025 with Dan Trachtenberg's Predator: Badlands. The two movie monsters continue to coexist in the same timeline, but their conflict has not yet been realized since 2007. A reboot of Alien vs. Predator would likely ret-con the existing 2 entries and establish a completely new AvP timeline.
