Prior to the official announcement that 20th Century Fox were going to tap Neill Blomkamp for a new Alien movie, Blomkamp had posted a fraction of his Alien 5 concept art online - to which many fans responded with hype and enthusiasm. One such fan was film VFX artist David Woodruff. Last monthhe sat down with TheTerminatorFans to discuss his makeup test, emulating Blomkamp's envisioned Hicks model.
