Creative Assembly's Alien: Isolation took the gaming community by storm last year and finally delivered fans with an exciting, thrilling and truly Alien experience. After winning multiple "Gameof the Year" awards, Alien: Isolation has set the bar for Alien-themed games to follow and who better to follow up Alien: Isolation than Creatiuve Assembly once again, with a sequel to Alien: Isolation!
News has come up that the studio may be doing just that. Not only are they rumored to be developing a sequel to Alien: Isolation, but they're apparently looking to add a multiplayer option to the game's list of features as well! On their official website, Creative Assembly have listed a job opening, looking for an "Online/Multi-Player Programmer". The position is for next gen consoles and PC. Paired with the image above, the job listing is as follows:
"We are seeking an talented programmer has thorough experience developing a range of online features. We are creating another multi-platform AAA blockbuster and the successful applicant will be part of a team which allows our game experience to be shared."
It's extremely likely that Alien: Isolation 2 could be under way at Creative Assembly, which would be incredible, considering how well the first game was received, paired with the growing hype for Neill Blomkamp's Alien 5! It's a good time to be an Alien fan, that's for sure! Let us know what you think by commenting below!
